Los Cabos General Information
Los Cabos is on the western tip of Mexico's Baja California. As you fly over the Sea of Cortes that separates Baja California from the rest of Mexico, you'll have an amazing view of the tall peaks of the Sierra de la Laguna mountain range that is the backdrop for hundreds of miles of golden beach, blue water and dramatic red cliffs. Cacti, palm trees and landscaped gardens dot the pale desert landscape.

San José del Cabo: Located ten minutes from Los Cabos International Airport, San Jose is a colonial city with that special Old World charm. The main avenue, Paseo Mijares, is a wonderful street full of world class shops and enchanting restaurants. Picturesque, historical San Jose del Cabo, founded in the 18th century by catholic missionaries, has still retained its authentic colonial atmosphere.

Cabo San Lucas: Twenty miles south of San Jose del Cabo is the lovely city of Cabo San Lucas. Although it has kept its original spirit of a small fishing village, it has also moved into the modern world through constant development and now has many first rate hotels, exclusive restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. The new marina has over 300 slips and all around it are some incredible shopping malls, open air restaurants and night clubs. Cabo San Lucas is the most active of Los Cabos' micro-destinations.

Tourism Corridor: Stretching all along the 18 miles of coastline that caresses the cities of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas the tourism corridor is one golden beach after another and is where most of the new hotel developments-including several 5 starts hotels, golf courses and wonderful beaches-are located.
